These Terms & Conditions govern your enrolment and participation in the Dental Nurse Training Certificate in Fluoride Varnish Application. By enrolling on the course you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
Upon successful payment and account creation, you will be granted access to all course materials, online theory modules, quizzes and assessment tools.
Course access is valid for 3 months from the date of enrolment. You must complete all assessment requirements within this period. If you are unable to complete the course within 3 months, you may apply for a course extension - extension fees and terms are set out separately at the point of request.
Your login credentials are personal to you and must not be shared with any other person. Dental Nurse Training Ltd reserves the right to suspend access to any account found to be shared or misused.
The course fee is payable in full at the time of enrolment via our secure payment provider, Stripe. All prices include VAT where applicable.
You have a right to a full refund if you cancel your enrolment within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed any course content. This is your statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
After 14 days, or once you have accessed the course content, the fee is non-refundable unless the course is rendered inaccessible due to a fault on the part of Dental Nurse Training Ltd. In such circumstances a full or partial refund will be considered at our discretion.
To request a refund within the 14-day cooling-off period, please contact us at emily@dentalnurse.training stating your name, email address and order reference.
To be awarded the Certificate in Fluoride Varnish Application, learners must:
All assessment decisions are made by qualified assessors and are final. Dental Nurse Training Ltd does not enter into appeals on the basis of personal disagreement with an assessor's feedback. Where a learner believes an administrative error has occurred, they may raise this in writing to emily@dentalnurse.training within 14 days of receiving their feedback.
Upon successful completion of all requirements, a digital CPD certificate will be issued to the email address registered on your account. Certificates are issued within 5 working days of final sign-off. The certificate constitutes evidence of verifiable CPD for GDC purposes.
Dental Nurse Training Ltd does not guarantee that completion of this course will automatically entitle you to perform fluoride varnish application in any particular clinical setting. It remains your responsibility to ensure you are working within the scope agreed with your employer, that your indemnity insurance covers the extended duty, and that you have the necessary authorisation (e.g. a patient specific direction) in place.
All written work submitted as part of your assessment must be entirely your own. You must not:
Where plagiarism or academic dishonesty is suspected, Dental Nurse Training Ltd will investigate and may suspend access to the course while this takes place. Confirmed plagiarism will result in immediate removal from the course without refund, and the matter may be reported to the GDC if it involves a registered dental professional.
Clinical logbook entries must accurately reflect real supervised practice. Falsification of clinical records is a serious professional matter and will be treated accordingly.
As a GDC registrant (or trainee registrant), you are expected to uphold the standards set out in the GDC's Standards for the Dental Team throughout your participation in this course. This includes treating course staff, assessors and any patients involved in your clinical practice with respect and professionalism.
Dental Nurse Training Ltd reserves the right to remove any learner from the course without refund if their conduct is found to be unprofessional, abusive or in serious breach of GDC standards.
All course content - including written materials, videos, quiz questions, assessment tasks and handbooks - is the intellectual property of Dental Nurse Training Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell or share any course content without our prior written permission.
Your personal use of the course materials for the purpose of your own learning and CPD is, of course, permitted and encouraged.
We take your privacy seriously. Details of how we collect, use and store your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy. By enrolling on the course, you acknowledge that we will process your personal data as described in that policy, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Dental Nurse Training Ltd takes all reasonable care to ensure that the course content is accurate, current and consistent with UK clinical guidance. However, clinical guidance changes and it remains your professional responsibility to verify current best practice and guidance before applying any clinical skill.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dental Nurse Training Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from reliance on course content in a clinical setting. This course constitutes education and CPD - it does not replace individual clinical judgement or the authority of your supervising dentist.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. If we make material changes, we will notify enrolled learners by email. Continued use of the course platform following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
